How ClearComp works: live in 4 steps

From sign-up to your first commission run — here’s exactly how ClearComp gets your team paid right.

14-day free trial. Card required, first charge on day 15, cancel anytime.

  1. Step 1 of 4

    Create your account

Sign up in minutes. No setup call required, no sales rep to wait on. You're in the product immediately, with a 14-day free trial to see how ClearComp handles your real comp plans.

  2. Step 2 of 4

    Build your commission plans

Define your plans the way they actually work — tiered, retro, step-up, monthly or quarterly payouts, with draws, splits and overrides. Build them in the plan editor, or upload an existing plan document and let ClearComp draft it for you.

Upload a PDF, Word file or photo of your existing comp plan. ClearComp reads it and drafts the tiers for you to review.

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Add your reps

Add reps and assign each one a plan. When you activate a rep's portal, ClearComp emails them a secure link to set their password. Reps then see their own dashboard, sales and projected payouts.

Nothing is emailed until you activate a portal — so you can check a rep's numbers before they see anything.

  4. Step 4 of 4

    Enter sales and run payouts

Log sales in the Sales tab — one at a time or by CSV upload. ClearComp calculates commissions, splits, overrides, draws and reimbursements automatically. When the period closes, payouts are ready for review, finalizing and a payroll-ready export.
